Our Story
Protecting Charlotte Communities Since 2020
Paladin Public Safety was founded with a single mission: to raise the standard of private security in the Charlotte Metro area. What started as a small team of former law enforcement professionals has grown into a trusted partner for multifamily communities, commercial properties, and institutional clients across North Carolina.
Our approach is built on three principles — professionalism, accountability, and technology. Every officer we deploy is rigorously vetted, continuously trained, and supported by our proprietary reporting platform that delivers real-time transparency to property managers and community boards.
As a fully licensed and insured North Carolina Private Protective Services company, we don't just meet the minimum requirements — we exceed them. Our leadership team brings decades of combined experience from law enforcement, military service, and property management, giving us a unique perspective on what effective public safety truly looks like.

Jeff Carson
Director of Marketing and Client Relations
Jeff is a born and raised Charlotte native whose roots are deeply embedded in the city's history. He grew up in the small town of Hemby Bridge in Union County, NC, and attended Piedmont High School. After high school, he pursued a career in law enforcement and attended East Carolina University and Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC.
With over 30 years of experience in the public safety and law enforcement field, Jeff works daily to ensure the highest standards of professionalism. He is an active trainer who enjoys the outdoors and fishing.
